As a result of moving to new premises and\npurchasing several large new machines, they have experienced exponential growth\nand need an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key\nResponsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Design and plan for introduction of\nnew customer products and improvements to existing client product<\/li><li>Support engineering and production\nteams on manufacturing queries<\/li><li>Maintain and document design process\nin line with company standards<\/li><li>Give input into the development of\nnew procedures to cope with the rapidly increasing customer demand<\/li><li>Introduction of new processes and\ntechnology<\/li><li>Creation of technical drawings<\/li><li>Creation of BOMS and work\ninstructions to ensure work is carried out in a timely fashion<\/li><li>Liaise with customers re specification\net al<\/li><li>Maintain part revisions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential\nCriteria: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hold a degree (or near equivalent) in\na relevant subject<\/li><li>Minimum two years\u2019 experience in a\nsimilar role<\/li><li>Experience with CAD (preferably Solid\nWorks)<\/li><li>Flexible to work outside core\nbusiness hours as business demands<\/li><li>Excellent interpersonal and\ncommunication skills<\/li><li>Able to demonstrate technical, IT and\nnumerical skills<\/li><li>Organisation and efficiency, a must<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desirable\nCriteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Experience in tool design and\nassembly<\/li><li>Experience liaising with customers<\/li><li>Experience in CAM programming\n(Hypermill or other)<\/li><li>Familiarity with Lean manufacturing\nprinciples<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for\nthis position, please forward your completed CV to <a href=\"mailto:careers@donite.com\">careers@donite.com<\/a>&nbsp; or contact us for further\ninformation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Donite Plastics designs and manufactures custom made plastic parts mainly by thermoforming and CNC trimming.
