{"id":252,"date":"2022-10-21T09:34:29","date_gmt":"2022-10-21T08:34:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.donite.com\/news\/?p=252"},"modified":"2022-10-21T09:34:29","modified_gmt":"2022-10-21T08:34:29","slug":"donite-plastics-announces-project-with-queens-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.donite.com\/news\/2022\/10\/21\/donite-plastics-announces-project-with-queens-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Donite Plastics Announces Project With Queen\u2019s University"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Saintfield based company, Donite Plastics, has announced its partnership with the Northern Ireland Technology Centre at Queen\u2019s University, Belfast to work on a project that will assist in the growth of the UK\u2019s aerospace sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding for the project, which was awarded by the National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEP), co-funded by Innovate UK and the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), will see the Saintfield company and Queen\u2019s University develop automated assembly and introduce an exciting new product in aircraft interiors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a rigorous application process, Stephen Kissick, Donite Plastics\u2019 Business Development Manager, claims that the funding award is testament to the company\u2019s commitment to continuous improvement, adopting new technologies and pioneering in the thermoforming sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of the entire team at Donite Plastics, we are very proud to have been selected to partner with Queen\u2019s University on this prestigious project,\u201d Stephen said. \u201cWe\u2019re very excited to be able to use our knowledge and expertise to help further the aerospace sector, particularly after the challenges posed by the pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrick Knight, Engineering and R&amp;D Manager at Donite Plastics said;
